Ashley Waterfill joined Mama Justice as a litigation attorney in 2023 and is deeply passionate about assisting clients through their personal injury cases.
Prior to joining Mama Justice, Ashley graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2022. While in law school, Ashley worked at the school’s First Amendment Clinic for federal litigation. She also clerked for the Honorable Jacqueline Mask of the First Chancery Court District of Mississippi, received the Justice John Paul Stevens Fellowship as a clerk intern at North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, and helped homeless veterans as a volunteer for the Public Interest Legal Clinic.
Before attending law school, Ashley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies.
Ashley works and resides in Jackson, MS, with her spouse and two cats. In addition to her legal duties, she serves as a member of the Capital Area Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division and also volunteers at local animal shelters. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys baking, watching college football, and spending time with her family.
“I chose to go to law school because I believe in seeking justice,” said Ashley. “My profession allows me to do that every day by protecting my injured clients.”
