John Forrest Kelly joined Mama Justice as a litigation attorney in 2024 and is motivated to help clients with personal injuries obtain compensation and regain peace of mind.
Prior to joining Mama Justice, John Forrest served for nearly three years as an attorney for a Nashville firm practicing estate planning and probate law. He also clerked for various legal institutions for over four years and interned at the U.S. House of Representatives.
John Forrest graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2021, where he worked for the student-run Mississippi Law Journal, the state’s longest running source of legal scholarship. There, he supported the journal in providing readers informed synopses of Mississippi Supreme Court and Court of Appeals decisions. Before attending law school, John Forrest graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
John Forrest was born and raised in Saltillo, MS, and currently lives and works in Tupelo, MS. In his spare time, John Forrest enjoys playing golf. He’s a lifelong fan of Ole Miss sporting events and particularly enjoys watching football and baseball games. One of his favorite memories is traveling to Omaha, NE, to watch the Rebels win the 2022 College World Series.
