Margo Friloux is a Mississippi and Tennessee-licensed attorney from Columbus, Mississippi. A die-hard bulldog fan, she attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate degree and enjoyed a summer studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. In 2015, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and from there decided to attend law school at the Mississippi College School of law in Jackson, Mississippi.

Throughout law school, Margo engaged in various student associations, externships, and athletics. She was a staff writer for the law school’s newspaper, as well as a member of the sports and entertainment law society, business law society, and Women’s Student Bar Association. During her first semester in law school, Margo was chosen to be on a student panel for her excellent research and writing skills and to discuss her findings in front of a panel of judges and the student body. She externed for the In-House Counsel at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and for circuit court judge James. T. Kitchens, Jr. of the 16th Judicial District in Columbus, Mississippi. She also played for the law school soccer team.

After becoming licensed in Mississippi, Margo worked for the Department of Human Services in Starkville, Mississippi. There, she established and enforced child support for several counties in northern Mississippi. She also conducted numerous hearings and gained great courtroom experience. Margo is also a member of the Golden Triangle Young Lawyer’s Division and the Mississippi Young Lawyer’s Association.

Margo has a passion for traveling and loves to snowboard and hike. When she is not traveling, she loves to go to the movies, attend Mississippi State sporting events, and spend time with her family, friends, and boyfriend (and her French bulldog, Oscar).

Margo is thrilled to be a part of the MW law family. Her diligence, organization, communication skills, compassion, and excitement to help others will be an excellent asset to the firm. Clients can be assured that Margo will do everything she can to help her clients win their cases. Call Mama Justice and Hail State!
