Sheena Payne is an Illinois- and Tennessee-licensed attorney who’s passionate about serving clients through caring and zealous advocacy.
An army brat raised throughout the mid-south, Sheena attended the University of Chicago as a first-generation college student, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Slavic Languages and Literature and studied abroad in Krasnodar, Russia.
After college, Sheena attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, externing in the appellate division of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and for the Honorable Young B. Kim while he served at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Sheena has spent her law practice as a personal injury attorney, helping clients navigate difficult and painful moments caused by injuries through no fault of their own. She brings both experience and empathy to her representation of clients at Mama Justice.
Outside of work, Sheena loves the outdoors—hiking in Shelby Forest and bird watching everywhere she goes. Sheena also enjoys the support of her husband, Alex, and the companionship of their two doggos and three cats.
